Jon studied film history and film theory at Emory University. Wanting to experience the world and learn more about the craft of photography - Jon moved to Melbourne, Australia and studied photography at RMIT. There he learned about experimental and studio photography. After graduating college, Jon went on to pursue his masters degree with a concentration in cinematography from Florida State University.

Currently, Jon shoots commercials, music videos, corporate, and feature films.
